Can you download the Novibet app on both iPhone and Android?
Yes, a native Novibet app exists for both platforms: iPhone users find it on the App Store and Android users on Google Play. The listings we reviewed are the Ireland storefronts, and the operator does not publish a direct APK route.
Novibet does not hold a licence valid for the UK. Its licence is Malta MGA/CRP/186/2010, which can be checked on the Malta Gaming Authority's public register. The UK licence was held by Novigroup Ltd and was surrendered in 2022, so a UK store listing may not be available to you and the app's presence in a store is not a sign of UK protection.
- Open the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android).
- Search for Novibet and check that the developer name matches the one described below.
- Tap install and wait for the download to finish.
- Confirm you are 18+ before opening an account or placing any bet.
What the 244.3 MB download involves before you install
The Novibet mobile app is 244.3 MB according to its App Store listing, and the App Store names the developer as Logflex MT Limited, the Malta-based current operator. Check these points first:
- Size: 244.3 MB is heavy for a betting app, so use Wi-Fi and free up space on older phones.
- Developer: Logflex MT Limited is the name on the App Store listing; a different publisher name is a warning sign.
- Security: the operator states SSL/TLS 256-bit encryption.
- Licence: Malta MGA/CRP/186/2010 applies, not a UK Gambling Commission licence, so UK complaint routes and GamStop coverage do not apply.
The minimum deposit is not published by the brand. Bonus terms are on the bonus page and banking details on the payments page.
App features
How do app users rate it in the stores?
Novibet scores 4.4 on the App Store (1.3k ratings) and 4.3 on Google Play (580 reviews), according to the store listings. Google Play also shows 50K+ downloads.
| Store | Rating | Volume |
|---|---|---|
| App Store (IE) | 4.4 | 1.3k ratings |
| Google Play (IE) | 4.3 | 580 reviews, 50K+ downloads |
The two scores are close, so neither platform is clearly better. The App Store sample is larger, which makes 4.4 the steadier figure. Store ratings measure usability, not licensing or withdrawal handling, so they say little about how a Malta-licensed operator treats UK customers.
Novibet mobile and casino on your phone: app or browser?
For anyone who can reach it, the Novibet casino app and the mobile browser site are both options, but only the app is confirmed with store listings and a stated 244.3 MB size. The operator does not publish details of a progressive web app.
The app suits frequent users who want quick access to Novibet sports and casino, and its main cost is storage. The browser avoids the install, but the operator does not publish its mobile site specifications. Novibet casino mobile access from the UK carries the licence caveat above: no UKGC protection, and a UK-licensed alternative is the safer route.
